Earlier this month, the Johor Darul Ta’zim F.C. made history as the first ever team to win the Malaysia Super League for three years running since the league’s debut in 2004. Actually, the Southern Tiger’s achievement goes beyond the Super League; no other team has won a league championship this many times in a row since 1979, when Malaysia first introduced its league system!

Naturally, the team’s owner – The Crown Prince of Johor, Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim – is justifiably ecstatic over the Southern Tigers successfully defending their reign in the league, after beating Terengganu’s T-Team in the final round of fixtures.

As kissing the trophy is not enough to convey his thrill of victory, TMJ drops a pair of sunglasses on it and stars in a hilarious video short on how “the trophy isn’t going anywhere.”

Enjoy!
