Storytelling has always been a key part of sneaker culture, and we start our story back in 2006, when Jordan Brand introduced its first ever two-pair set called the “Defining Moments Package” that serves as a tribute to two of Jordan’s greatest moments as a professional basketball player. Comprising of an Air Jordan 6 and 11, the whole concept of it was an elegant thing too; understated black/gold colourways, special dog-tags, booklet, and artwork on the box was given along with the shoes, and still remains a coveted set up to this day.
And now, the Air Jordan 6 sets its return 14 years on, being available in a full size run, so everyone can pay homage to MJ’s first NBA title back in 1991. Same elegant black/gold colour mix, same blocking, replete with all the nostalgia of a bygone era.
