Are We Lost, a search for Malaysian pop-culture where a group of local artists from today’s art scene are gathered. These talented people are to bring their very own unique visual perspective and then come up with a series of limited edition posters and original artwork. All this will be inspired by everything from our history of folklore and urban legends to humorous sci-fi characters. Then, re-imagined as us, the everyday Malaysians to create the typically Malaysian patterns and shapes. Something like Darth Vader serving you breakfast at your favourite mamak? At the same time, new original artwork by the amazing artists which includes Kenji Chai, Lefty, Katun, Michael Chuah (C2V), Zamzami M. Zain and Sandra Khoo. This coming weekend at Studio267.
