Yeirkif Abdullah is the name of our featured Instagrammer of the Day. After finishing his studies in landscape architecture in university, he took a turn in his career and started a photography company, Paperbag Photography, in 2011 along side his best friend who is currently his business partner. “I love photography so much. Photography is my passion and yet, I’m still learning all the techniques and tips from other profesional photographers,” states Yeirkif.
He believes that art is not only meant to be found on the walls of art galleries. For him, although simple, the combination of hand-drawn illustrations and random objects is a form of art. He created #YAoreoseries while consuming an oreo. As he ate, he thought about doodling something with an oreo and ended up creating this series. A while after, he started #YAcoffeedoodle.
“These projects allowed me to create art in simple, fun and quick ways, and Instagram became a platform for my work. The most important elements in my photos are natural lighting and a piece of white paper to draw,” adds Yeirkif.
