Build your very own Theatre of Dreams
Written by Aqil Nasri
Die-hard Red Devil fans, the time is now for you to bring Old Trafford right into the comforts of your homes.
Manchester United and LEGO have partnered up to fulfill a lifelong dream for fans who may not have the opportunity to physically go to Old Trafford themselves, or for fans who want a piece of the club to keep for themselves. The ‘Theatre of Dreams’ authentic LEGO model is a piece unlike any other. It is a fully authentic and unique, 1:600 replica model of the real stadium, going as far as to even include details such as the Munich memorial clock, the players’ tunnel, a statue of Sir Alex Ferguson, and even the Holy Trinity itself.
The special commemorative LEGO piece is part of the LEGO Creator Expert model, with it having 3,898-piece, a number quite remarkable for a LEGO piece. This set is a true collector’s item, one that any Manchester United fans should at least think of getting it one day in their lives.
This LEGO set is rated for people ages 16 and up, which is quite a high age rating for a LEGO piece. I think the main reasoning behind this is the fact that this particular piece is more of a collector’s item rather than a normal LEGO model. Also, with the high count of pieces needed for construction, higher amounts of patients and a more careful approach to placement needs to be observed by people in order to successfully build Old Trafford from the ground up.
The LEGO Creator Expert Old Trafford – Manchester United model is available now exclusively at LEGO Certified Stores for a price of RM1,149.90.
Also, in conjunction with the release of this model, new adopters of the set will stand a chance to win exclusive Manchester United merchandise such as jerseys, footballs or even caps from Adidas! All you need to do is take a screenshot of your receipt for the purchase of this LEGO model, and send your details via WhatsApp (017-6645514), writing them in the manner below:
