For the first time, you can see what’s in-demand on Netflix

Recently, Netflix has announced they will be releasing a new feature that will allow users to view the 10 most popular programs on its service based on the country that you are living in. So, if you are living in Malaysia, you might find your list to be vastly different from people living in the United States.
The Top 10 list will have three main lists, consisting of the Top 10 Overall list, Top 10 Movies list, and Top 10 TV Shows list. The overall list will consist of both the most popular shows and movies currently being viewed on Netflix in that region at any given time, while the movies list and shows list will feature a separate list for the most in-demand movies and tv shows.
The lists will be updated daily, and functions to primarily help users find out what titles everyone is watching. Before this, users might notice that there were already trending and popular rows available for view, but it wasn’t ranked based on the order of most to least popular in the top 10.
Plus, the shows and films that make the cut will also receive a special “top 10” badge wherever they appear on Netflix. So, what this means is that when users randomly scroll through Netflix, they will easily notice which shows or movies have the badge, making it easier for users to view the most in-demand content at a glance.
The Top 10 lists are currently rolling out now to users worldwide, so don’t freak out if you haven’t seen it yet.
