Malaya Co.’s in-house brand MALAYA, will be launching its latest product range to commemorate its second year anniversary. The Malaya-02 [47820] and Malaya-03 [E1-0QF] will be part of an All Black Series, featuring a black brushed steel watch set and a bag that can be worn in multiple ways. The Malaya-02 & 03 takes inspiration from the practicality and functionality of military equipment, combined with Malaya Co.’s industrial minimalism concept.
The Malaya-03 [E1-0QF] features a 3-way-carry bag; (1) a backpack, (2) a messnger, and (3) a shoulder carry. Each bag is meticulously crafted with Condura 500D and Diamond Ripstop inner lining material as well as YKK Aqua Resistance zippers. The Malaya-03 is designed as a bag that is water resistant and durable, making it suitable to be worn in any conditions. Apart from the unique 3-way-carry strap system that is unique to only MALAYA, the bag also features a hidden front pocket for important belongings, an inner laptop sleeve compartment, and two easy access side pockets. Each Malaya-03 set will retail at RM438 in Malaysia.
The Malaya-02 [47820] is an adaptation of the Malaya-01 [419120], a minimalist watch that comes in either Rose Gold or Silver, paired with a leather NATO strap and a nylon NATO strap. The Malaya-02 takes it further by including not only a black leather NATO strap, but also three nylon NATO straps in black, military green, and grey. The watch frame is made from brushed black steel, ash grey hands and watch markings, and is equipped with a crystal sapphire glass and a Japanese Miyota movement. Each Malaya-02 watch set will retail at RM438 in Malaysia.
The MALAYA : BLACK SERIES will be official launching on the 6th of May 2017 during a launch event (RSVP HERE if you are interested to attend the event), and will be available on their online store from 8th May 2017 onwards.
