1. Wearing a tie outside under a windy weather makes us looked ridiculous with our tie flying around. This won’t happen if we have a tie bar/clip, but if you don’t have one here is the trick. On every tie, there is a fabric opening at the tip of the tie. Place a coin in it to add weight and your tie will stay still!

2. We’re all too aware of the threats of washing a great pair of jeans. Washing a pair of jeans will change the colour of the jeans, and many denim heads out there would rather keep it unwashed.  But we can’t deny that our jeans do smell, so what’s the trick to take away the foul smell? First make sure your jeans is dry to begin with. Fold your jeans nicely and put it into a zip-lock bag or any plastic bag and sealed it. After that, put it in the freezer overnight and your jeans will be fresh once again.

3. Hangers will expand our T-shirt collar overtime. This is because hangers aren’t supportive enough for most cotton fabrics and will distort the shape of your T-shirt after a period of time. So what should we do? We encourage you to fold your T-shirt after ironing it instead of hanging it to avoid stretching your t-shirt and to keep your favourite T-shirt crisp!

4. Funky feet and smelly shoes can lead to displeasure, embarrassment, and can prove to be a huge social problem. Imagine taking off your shoes in public places with an odour burst that creates discomfort to people around you. A simple way to freshen up your shoe at home is using baking soda. Pour in a tablespoon of baking soda in your shoes and let the substance absorb the odour overnight. To avoid the mess, we encourage you to put the baking powder on top of a paper towel in the shoe for easy clean up. Baking soda can be used in a broad variety of ways, even as an anti-fungal powder.

5. Everyone owns at least a pair of button up shirt and we wear them often. There are times where the button’s thread get loose and  falls out as the thread starts shredding up. Here is a are tricks where you could make the buttons last for a very long time. Apply some clear nail polish to seal up frayed button threads, the nail polish will dry up and hold the thread together for longer life spend!
