Armed with an innovative mind and tempered by years of hitting the pavement, track and field coach Bill Bowerman made inroads in the world of running thanks to one idea. His desire to create a running shoe that is as comfortable as it is durable, allowing athletes to run longer and faster, was the foetus that eventually developed into the Nike Classic Cortez.

The Classic Cortez took the running world by storm when it became available in 1972. Embraced for its undeniable comfort and simple, yet versatile appearance, the classic triple black and white moved from the pavement to the big screen in iconic fashion.

The Nike Cortez Basic QS is a modern day iteration of such an illustrious classic. It features a combination of premium nylon, suede and varsity leather. A full-length EVA foam midsole adds a thick layer of padding to keep your foot elevated over rugged surfaces. Additionally, a 1972 classic text is embroidered at the back of the suede body to provide it’s superior heritage in the Classic Cortez form.

The shoe is available at Hundred% store and slated for a retail price of RM 299.
