In case you were unaware, Against Lab took over The Swagger Salon in Penang to bring you The 168 Pop Up Shop. Bringing together the finest, like-minded independent labels to the northern island, the shop is united by its crusade to the break the mould and change the rules.
Last Saturday night, the 168 Pop Up opening party was in full force. Throngs of people turned up at The Swagger Salon to welcome the independent labels curated by Against Lab. There were faces both new and familiar who showed up with curiosity and some extracted the cash in their wallets. The audio vibes were supplied by KL veteran Dae Kim on the decks accompanied by newcomer No Veggie.
If you’ve missed the opening party, don’t worry though because The 168 Pop Up Shop will be operating at The Swagger Salon until the 9th of April 2016.
