Tokyo-based creative agency mo’design Inc. teamed up with CARHARTT WIP once again to push forward the imagination of streetwear subcultures in a digitalized world, through the lens of Motoki Mizoguchi.
Motoki Mizoguchi’s abundance of experience working with creative minds in Tokyo, profound love to music, graffiti art, and graphic design allows him to visualize his inspiration from 90s Harajuku subculture through the latest capsule collection with Carhartt WIP, the Carhartt Modes. This upcoming collection is completed with a focused approach which showcases Mizoguchi’s own affection of multi-media art tangling with bold strokes graffiti and reinterpreted expression of work in progress. The whole collection uses Fluo Yellow to cohere the spring vibrancy.
SS18 CARHARTT MODES collaboration features print that is self-explanatory by its name, the ‘Spray’, ‘Painter’, ‘Overwrite’ and ‘Digital’. The collection includes wardrobe essentials such as short-sleeved printed T-shirts, a simple sweatshirt and a Coach Jacket, however, only the short-sleeved printed T-shirt will be for sale in Malaysia. This collaboration symbolizes the friendship and respect between Carhartt WIP and mo’design Inc.
The collection will be available for purchase on the 23rd of February at every Crossover store and on Crossover’s Online Store with a retail price of RM249.90 per T-shirt.
