Southeast Asia Represent

We don’t usually get cross country collaborations, especially in our small enclave of islands we call Southeast Asia, but when it happens, it’s almost always a good one, and Against Lab’s collaborative efforts with Indonesian denim label POT MEETS POP is no different from the others.

Dubbed the ‘Chaos Standard,’ the partnership fuses the best of both brands into a single capsule, combining AGAINST’s DNA into PMP’s stringent denim tailoring. Featuring graphics heavily inspired from Hong Kong gangster and martial arts films, the collection is adorned with features of neon lights, handcuffs, and finished off with the staple dragon.

The highlight of the capsule is the ensemble’s denim zip up work jacket and pants; unapologetically baggy and rugged, reminiscing the likes of gangster culture, fused with the cutting of the prison jumpsuit.

The ‘Chaos Standard’ collection is available to purchase at the iSetan Japan Store in Lot 10, but will soon be available in both Against Lab’s and PMP’s webstores soon.
