When establishing anything, a business, a band, a bakery, a club, a website, we mean anything, “support” is a very important aspect in survivability. For a streetwear brand, support is crucial to not only just exist, but to also grow. The support that you get becomes the motivation and the core of why you thrive and grow. Native Instructions was established 2 years ago because of the encouragement from friends who supported the idea and look of the brand, which brings them to their latest collection.
Hood Vibes Q1 2014 release consist of 5 designs which are done in themes that everybody can relate to. Hype is something that will eventually die off or fade away, but ideas, believes and ideals will always stick. And a good idea on a t-shirt will always be worn with pride by the wearer, like a flag. Each design that is produced contains a certain idea and believe which the brand strongly believes in. Take the “RAPE” tee for instance, and the message behind the t-shirt. Many streetwear enthusiast would totally understand what that word means in the reselling world and also how familiar the printed face on the back of the tee is.
Native Instructions believes that by being a ‘streetwear’ brand, they should always speak their mind, even if nobody ( or maybe just a few ) would listen or care about what they have to say, at least they are a brand that stands their own ground. In a nut shell, this release is about displaying what they think of the scene, and also to dedicate it to the people who have been supporting their brand and the way they think, their ideas, their believes and ideals.
