Onitsuka Tiger continues its 70th Anniversary birthday bash with the fourth stage in a list of 7 designers, this time collaborating with STAFFONLY in a capsule collection dubbed “Protection.”
With Shimo Zhou and Une Yea at the helm, the designers of STAFFONLY are an energetic duo, creating contemporary and refreshing menswear based in London. Key pieces include the enhanced “SERRANO” sneaker, with the theme of “Protection” 凹凸 (bumpy) applied on the toe and heel area alongside with two shoelaces that are featured to finish the novel design.
Notable details include the orange and blue lines of a three-dimensional cut on the white base running along the entire side taken from the track top. Additionally, elements from the track pants are applied by adopting the drawstring as shoelaces.
The illustrated imagination collection of Onitsuka x STAFFONLY will be launched on September 23 at Onitsuka Tiger stores in KLCC and MidValley.
