We popped by The Markets Bazaar @ Jaya One today to check out Pestle & Mortar‘s preview of their very soon-to-be released Summer 2013 Collection. The preview featured 14 pieces out of their extensive 30 pieces collection and from what we saw, you can expect the collection to be yummeh!
Since it is a summer release, and floral prints are favorites for this year’s summer, Pestle & Mortar have stuck to what they know best, which is staying ‘Local’ and came out with a hibiscus floral pattern, which is the national flower of Malaysia.
Other highlights of the collection would be the ‘camo’ pattern that is made out of the shapes of the Malaysian States, a fruits pattern that features the mangostene and other various popular Malaysian fruits, and lastly the ‘Concrete Jungle’ pattern, which is to symbolize the fast and vast development happening in Malaysia’s capital city, Kuala Lumpur.
Pestle & Mortar have yet to set a release date for their latest collection, but we are guessing it would be sometime early of next month. Stay tune as we await more news from them.
