Ralph Lauren Are Seriously Bringing The Heat With Applied Innovation
Polo Ralph Lauren just released their limited-edition Polo 11 astronaut jacket, and it’s a hit one. A ‘90s reissue of a coveted Polo outerwear piece, this jacket has become a cultural icon.
Bringing a more technologically advanced way to the extreme climates of the world than the traditional outerwear, the brand has revamped the iconic Polo 11 Jacket. Featuring a Bluetooth-controlled heating component built-in into it’s lining of the jacket, a rechargeable Mophie battery pack will be attached and placed in the jacket’s inside pocket that can keep the wearer warm for up to eleven hours when fully charged, with the specific temperature being controlled by the RL Heat App, which offers weather reports as well.
Pairing this insanely advance tech with the addition of water-resistant ripstop construction, 750 fill power down insulation and a heat distribution lining, Polo’s intention to keep wearers warm no matter the condition is up in spades.
Put the crazy advance tech aside, and just admire the NASA inspired design, mimicking space suits and the bright white finish is absolutely clean! It’s a holy grail vintage pair from the 90’s, and one that’s been innovated for the future. Although this jacket is impossible to rock in our Malaysia’s climate, it is definitely a forced to be reckoned with.
