What you see above are the keywords used to describe Big Sean’s newest collaborative capsule with PUMA, and the partnership doesn’t falter from what it says, bridging together functionality and looks without sacrificing any quality. Inspiration for this capsule comes from Big Sean’s apparent view veering towards sensibility.
“Over time, I’ve become more sensible in what I wear. I’m more drawn to comfortable pieces when I’m traveling or performing but quality has always been important to me so, the new collection really pulls together the best of both worlds. Just keeping it true to who I am down to what I’d like to wear,” states Detroit Don.
Fall palette make up the colours of the collection, giving a very warm, easy on the eyes look that’s very reminiscent of the season itself. Heritage sportswear styles are remixed with new tactile materials, a combination of mixed fabrics and tonal colour combinations giving the collection and more premium layered, slightly winter feel.
The shoes however, are the main highlight of the capsule, comprising of the classic Suede, Clyde, and Breaker silhouettes. Neutral colours make themselves present unto the upper, providing much needed versatility when it comes to pairing the shoe with anything. The Clyde comes clad in Beige with Big Sean’s signature on the heel counter, finished with a green outsole. The Suede receives the same treatment too, albeit in black and cream for a timeless look.
The first drop of the AW’18 PUMA x Big Sean Collection released on August 25th at PUMA KLCC, Pavilion, Sunway Pyramid, Sunway Velocity, Genting Sky Avenue, Mid Valley, Sabah Imago Mall, Crossover Concept stores, Robinson, and Zalora. The second drop will release on October 20th. The shoe collection ranges from RM 470 – RM 659. Add them to your rotation for everyday versatility.
