Tiger Beer has partner up with WWF, collaborating with the renowned French fashion house KENZO to unveil the Rare Stripes collection at the KENZO store at Ginza Six in Tokyo, Japan. The main inspiration that revolves around the collection is to raise awareness for wild tigers due to their dire numbers. This is the second campaign of the six-years partnership between Tiger Beer and WWF in an effort to promote the conservation of wild tigers.
“This collection is another one of the ways we’re raising global awareness and funds for endangered wild tigers. We want people to take action to save the wild tigers, our beloved brand icon, from extinction.” – Venus Teoh, International Brand Director for Tiger Beer
Created by Marcel Sydney, the collection was designed by selected emerging artists, some of which include Malaysia’s very own digital artist Sean Lean, contemporary artist and sculptor Meryl Smith from the USA, illustrator and designer Esther Goh from Singapore and lastly, illustrator and printmaker Julienne Tan from Cambodia, with the help of KENZO’s Co-creative directors Humberto Leon and Carol Lim as well.
With all proceedings from the sales of the collection goes to WWF, in support to the cause, the collection officially drops on 21st July at the launch event, with the release of limited number available at selected KENZO retail store globally in early August.
