SUE ME?

Sooooooooo…… as you all have heard, or in this case read, Supreme is suing Married To The Mob for a whopping $10 million in damages for using their logo, which Supreme has only just trademarked in March of this year after 20 years, in a ‘Supreme Bitch’ logo tee which was first release 10 years ago which was then re-released without consent from James Jebbia of Supreme who got pissed when a lot of people started asking him whether it was either a Supreme collab or an official Supreme merchandise and then proceeded to ask Leah about it which she then assured him that she would stop production of all products relating to the ‘Supreme Bitch’ which she at the end, did not do. Did we miss anything so far? Hope not.

Barbara Kruger, the artist who’s art is the ‘inspiration’ behind Supreme’s box logo, has come out in the open to comment about this whole thing as a “Clusterfuck of totally uncool jokers” and she also sarcastically commented that she is waiting for them to sue her for copyright infringement.

To make matters even more interesting, ANIMAL, a well known NYC website who is a supporter of Camp Leah and MTTM came out with a superb Supreme parody
t-shirt. Best part about it, they made the design available for download to the whole world wide web. The t-shirt has already been seen being worn at different parts of the world like Japan, UK, France, Italy and Korea to name a few.

Who is at fault? Who is infringing who’s copyright? Should Barbara Kruger just come out and sue both Supreme and MTTM? or is this just another one of those publicity stunt from both parties involved? We don’t have the answers. One things for sure, we’re chomping down popcorn with our asses half out of our seats.
