First seen on the KLFW runway, local streetwear brand Supercrew debuted their collection with famed Thai streetwear brand, We Vote For Subculture for a collaboration that crosses borders. This isn’t the first time a brand from our shores have met with other brands across the region, but this turned out to be one of the more daring approaches we’ve come across in the past few releases.

Dubbed “Subculture Crew,” the cross-cultural collab aims to build a lasting friendship with our neighbouring country as well as diversify the ranges of fashion and differences in the respective fashion industry and scene. Thai street influences are strong, bringing a myriad of bold patterns juxtaposed with a tie-dyed background that reminisces a grungier version of Wes Lang’s Wyoming merch.
Taking inspiration from the underground cultures of both Thailand and Malaysia, sees the creation of a few oversized tees, a chian wallet, caps, and a tie dye t-shirt made piece by piece from Farn of WVS.
The “Subculture Crew” collection is available now at the Supercrew flagship store while stocks last.
