Casio G-Shock is releasing a new collaborative watch with the Transformers franchise, and as both names are set to celebrate their 35th anniversary, the watch sees an impressive display from both brands.

Of course, they could’ve just gone and mirrored the colourways to the G-Shock, but It wouldn’t be a complete Transformers collaboration without a fully transformable action figure. From this limited release, we see a Master Optimus Prime Resonant Mode action figure collectible that uses the G-Shock as a chest piece.

When the watch is transformed, Optimus Prime turns into a watch stand and back to into action figure mode should the wearer so desire.

The actual watch shares a similar colour palette to the Optimus Prime figure, where red and blue make up the majority of the watch case and strap, while the Transformers logo and Autobots symbol is featured in grey.

The watch comes equipped with a set of features, including 200M water resistance and shock resistance, full auto calendar, a stopwatch and countdown timer. The watch is big one too; coming in at 53.2mm, it’s definitely not for the small wrist. Additionally, the watch comes in special-edition packaging, showcasing the Transformers logo and an image of Master Optimus Prime.

Luckily for you G-Shock fans, this watch is releasing in Malaysia, but only limited to a 100 pieces. Retailing at a price of RM1,549 the watch unfortunately won’t be selling in stores, but online with an online draw system between 28th to 31th of January 2019.
