Jumping back onto the topic of Uniqlo’s recent launch for their collection “Shochiku Kabuki x Uniqlo” (if you’ve been following us, that is), the GUMBALL Mag crew posted up their interview with NIGO, UT’s Creative Director to share with us the little details that makes up the collection.
Here’s a little snippet of the interview below,
“There’s tremendous diversity in Japanese traditional dance. Why did you choose Kabuki for this collection?
Kabuki is originally a popular dance for the general public so other dances like the Noh is for a very closed type of the population, so we thought Kabuki would be the best fit for Uniqlo.”
