It’s roughly about 3 months to the end of 2016, time sure flies! This week, we have a humorous story of religious and racial harmony, a thriller centred on girl’s troubled past, a traditional vampire anime movie, delinquents in a juvenile detention centre and a coven of witches who torment a family. 1. Dough (2015)

4. Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust (2000)

The titular character, D, is a dhampir, a half-breed child of a human and a vampire. On a quest to save Charlotte, who has been kidnapped by Baron Meier Link, the Marcus brothers and Leila, who has a strong hatred of vampires, are hot on his trail. Thrilling to the very end with epic fights and the appearance of a nemesis of D’s father, this film ought to satisfy any blood cravings you have.
5. The VVitch (2015)
Set in 17th century New England, a man named William is banished along with his family from the Puritan settlement they have called home. Building a new home near the edge of a forest, mysterious events begin to unfold starting with the disappearance of William’s youngest son. All fingers point to William’s eldest daughter Thomasin, but something much more sinister is at play. Will their faith protect them from the evil that threatens them or will they be consumed by its madness?
