A new cafe is in town! Kevin, owner of 46 by Project Gibraltar was heavily inspired by the 28 HongKong Street Bar. Doesn’t sounds familiar? Not surprising because it’s located in one of our neighbour country, Singapore. 28 HongKong Street is a speakeasy bar. Speakeasy bars back then were unlicensed bars. They were so called because of the practice of speaking quietly about such a place in public, so to not alert the police or neighbours. Kevin brought back this whole idea and concept to his very own cafe. A speakeasy cafe with specialty coffee and desserts. Located at Subang Jaya or should we say the cafes-everywhere-neighbourhood, 46 by Project Gibraltar has a rather interesting concept. This cafe is easily recognised with it’s special entrance.

Once entered, there is another entrance leading into this mysterious cafe. This separate entrance however when entered, gives a whole new impression. Instead of giving that mysterious aura, customers are now greeted with a cozy and neat cafe with an all white interior including white walls and furnitures. A simplicity and minimalist concept. Then behind the coffee machine stands the very friendly owner of this cafe greeting you with a smile, ready to serve.
