AYAQ™ made its debut by participating in all sorts of events throughout all corners of Kuala Lumpur. Its minimalistic features on the packaging of the brand are eye-catching. This brand of beverage founded by 3 brothers; Pett Suhaimi, Azhar Suhaimi and Asyraf Suhaimi were introduced somewhere in 2014. AYAQ™ Botoi offers 3 different beverages which are AYAQ Kopi(Black), AYAQ Kopi(White) and AYAQ Teh. These beverages are made traditionally with no preservatives what so ever. According to Pett, the idea of AYAQ™ Botoi was initially from the other brother, Asyraf who wanted to commercialize the tradition of coffee/tea recipe that has been used down through their generations 50 years ago by their late grandfather in Perak. The word AYAQ™ came from the likes of North Malaysia’s dialect of pronouncing water (air in malay) as ayaq. These 3 brothers were born & raised from Bagan Serai, Perak thus the reason of choosing the name, AYAQ, in addition to its uniqueness.
The concept is based on traditional original taste with new packing & style of product presentation as they want to set a new par & concept to this traditional coffee or ‘Kopi Kampong’ and share it with everyone. They plan to increase the scale of production and expand their market through the whole of Peninsular, Sabah & Sarawak. Other than that, they are also planning on producing other types of coffee and tea with variety of tastes as well. Currently, their products are available through most of the food and social events and some boutique cafes in Klang Valley.
