The heat is on as Merdeka Square comes to life with sights and smells of both local and international artistic delights at KL Big Kitchen Festival 2015. In partnership with the Ministry of Tourism and Culture, Kuala Lumpur City Hall is proud to present a 3-day food festival, happening on the 29th till 31st of May which showcases the variety of cuisines that are available in Kuala Lumpur. The KL Big Kitchen will be offering a range of over 60 food counters serving up the best of Malaysian gastronomic dish. To mention, all the food will be freshly prepared and cooked through out the day to ensure the quality and freshness of the food. Not only that, the event will also offers visitors a treat as celebrity gastronomic personalities and chefs interact and demonstrate their skills in preparing the dishes. Alongside will be live cooking workshops, cultural performances, and also demonstrations of contemporary and traditional culinary techniques.
The objectives for this event is to showcase Kuala Lumpur as the gastronomic destination for food-lovers all around the world and also to offer visitors the chance to learn cooking techniques and get knowledge and tips from the best chefs in Malaysia.
