It has been officially confirmed by Netflix that One Piece will be getting a live-action series on their streaming platform!

The streaming company has approved a 10-episode live-action series based on the beloved manga and anime. The project will personally be overseen by One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda, in which he will take on the helm of executive producer for the show.

The series is a co-production between Netflix and Tomorrow Studios. Now, if you don’t know Tomorrow Studios, they are also the ones responsible for the upcoming Cowboy Bepop live-action series appearing on Netflix.

This news may come off as either the best news or the worse news for some fans. Especially after Netflix’s average attempt at doing Death Note back in 2017.

Well, fingers crossed that this will be a great adaptation; one that follows closely to its source material while still being able to convey their own personal touch on it.

Anyways, what do you guys think about this news? Let us know in the comments below!
