Local indie dance duo Shaheed Naz and Robotron 5000, who are collectively known as Danger Disko, have just released a 20-minute soundtrack titled “Purple City“, as tribute to the legendary artist Prince.

“We were asked to do a special tribute to Prince for a runway fashion show recently, which got us super excited as we’re both fans of the legend. We thought it would be cool to be able to share this gem with all of you. We used some really cool remixes and made some edits for the show. Hope you guys will love it as much as we do” said the duo.

Being heavily influenced by the 80’s pop culture, music and art, Danger Disko have made a name for themselves with their unique nu-disco vibes and parlayed it into a deal with NYC/LA-based label, Media Blackout. They’ve been featured at several major festivals, including Urbanscapes, Good Vibes Festival and Heineken Thirst. They even toured in North America, Hong Kong and Indonesia.

Go ahead and have a listen to this 20-minute tribute track below here.
