After the released of his debut single, Litnya last year. Homegrown rapper, Kidd Santhe is back with his newly release music video titled “Elak Elak”. If everyone is wondering why the song’s is called “Elak Elak” to Kidd Santhe? Well the song’s is basically a story about his experience being bullied throughout his high school life.
“I was very quiet and shy so I guess it made it a whole lot easier for me to be a target. On top of all that I was a fat ass kid and you know how cruel and merciless kids can be. At one point this shy and quiet kid snapped and fought back and ever since then the bullies never had the guts to torment me or another victim. This entire experience ripped my self-confidence apart but it also gave me the motivation to lose about 30 KG’s to become the person that I am today. I wanted to make a song that I wish I heard while I was going through that process. Since I make music now, I thought to myself “why not make it for everyone and anyone else who’s going through an experience like this”. I want to be the voice for these people. I want to be able to relate to someone who has a really shitty boss at work or a group of kids who has dedicated their lives to making yours a living hell. I want them to stand up for themselves and recognize their self-value while reminding these bullies that everyone has a limit. That’s how the song’s came about”. said Kidd.
The video was directed by Haverhuck and DJ Biggie but entirely shot and edited by Haverhuck. If you notice, among Malaysian Artist’s that has appeared on the Music Video was Sonaone, MC Syze, Naufal and DJ Biggie.
