They say that a person’s view on things is a result of their nature and nurture. Looking at the world through this kaleidoscope of sounds.

Dae Kim, born in Korea and raised in Malaysia, introduces his own re-worked version of mü-nest frontier artist Okamotonoriaki’s well-known track titled “Happy Ending”.

“At certain times, different artists share quite a comparative opinions towards topics. However, I do believe that the best work of remix hails from the minimal differences of the artists’ taste.” said Dae.

This young prodigy’s work for the remix might capture similar serendipity with the original track. The song is quite susceptible to sappy tendencies and rather pop infused at times. The rhythms are the decorations rather than the element that carries the songs’ momentum, when rather the melodies’ and musical notes create flows and rhythm for the listeners to hold on to. Reminiscing poem subtly lies within the layers of synthesizers whispering what a happy ending is to the author: “The best shortcut is noticing the person who understands and reads the things that can be understood, seen and known.”

Perhaps, the happiest ending possible in our life is in us. To truly understand the things and ourselves that lies ahead of us.
