Now you no longer have to rock just the band shirt
PUMA’s not putting the brakes on these collaborations. Right after Big Sean and ADER ERROR, the sportswear giant turns to the music scene, and immediately employs one of the biggest names in Rock & Roll for a partnership featuring the ever-versatile Suede 50 model.
Which is a bit unusual since the Suede’s never really intersected said region before. Nevertheless, KISS frontman Paul Stanley has a pair to his name, and it’s a looker.
We all know KISS. Probably not so much from the music, but for their extremely striking presence bearing black and white make-up, tongues out with the devil’s horns high up in the air. PUMA thought it best to imbue that spirit into the Suede, which results in a silhouette that’s loud, in your face, and drags whatever shred of attention you can get to your shoes.
Inspirations include references from their album “Animalize,” not just the face paint. The Suede’s upper is debossed with zebra print and black leather Formstrip, complete with a red leather heel tab and finished with finished with an off-white outsole. Co-branding is present on the tongue, and grills a la Air Force One are present. All in all, we’d say all elements of the rock band are distilled perfectly into this pair.
Bold enough for you? The Suede 50 X Paul Stanley will be available at PUMA KLCC and Sunway Pyramid at RM481 on September 27th.
