Following up on the huge success Altimet from his single “Amboi”, his latest single release title “Keliling Dunia” was inspired by his trip abroad to USA and Europe for South by Southwest (SXSW) in 2016. “Keliling Dunia” written by Altimet with a touch of Navin D’Navigator composition, it’s upbeat and jazzy components were played by The Kawan Band.
“We (Altimet & The Kawan Band) travel abroad and gain inspiration for this song to combine hip hop and live music instruments, after a hard work in the studio, “Keliling Dunia” was an experimental result from it.” – Altimet
No doubt this hip hop phenomenon has more to offer to the local scene in hopes he’ll get to reach heights internationally someday. His debut album “Kotarayaku” made history when “Kalau Aku Kaya” won 3rd place in the 28th Anugerah Juara Lagu.
