In times of minimal human contact, with dislike and hate proliferating through social spheres, blaming one another for problems that aren’t even theirs, it’s a relief almost to see and know that some people are not allowing this to happen within their spheres, and a new duo, The Lounette wants to instead celebrate love and the sanctity of it in their latest single, “These Nights.”

Dubbed as a combination of R&B and Neo-soul, “These Nights” celebrates love in its entirety, opening its MV with a poem by Daing Zahira, before highlighting various other couples with Razziq (the lead singer) delicately singing the details of what makes love so great. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Snoh Aalegra. Amy Winehouse, and Lana Del Rey, “These Nights” employ a slow, chilled tune that reflects the air very well, replete with multiple themes that not only suggests, but assures that love is omnipresent around us, from the platonic love between fmaily members and friends, to the more romantically inclined love in between partners.

Stream “These Nights” now on Spotify and Apple Music.
