Formed in April 2015, Night Skies & Visions is a pop-punk band that exerts energetic stage presence and comical interactions in their performances. The 5-piece outfit emphasises on the “fun” factor; it’s a key experience they want people to have while rocking out at their shows.
This relatively new band has dropped their latest single – in lyric video format – just last weekend, titled “Surrender” .
“Surrender is about letting go of what you can’t control and giving a chance for external forces to guide you, knowing that sometimes you’re not the one who decides how things will happen,” says vocalist Ceyln Chow.
The track took over a year from start to finish, with Ceyln noting that it’s one of those songs “where we had to dig deep to find the pieces that fit.”
“God knows how many times we felt like it’s a dead end, like maybe this song wasn’t meant to be complete, but somehow we managed to find the right pieces that fit into the song right before we gave up… right before we surrender.”
The band is currently working on an EP that is slated for release next month. It’s a musical offering that audibly personified the band’s journey toward discovering their own sound.
