Perhaps it is not readily apparent, but the local music scene does boast talents across a great multitude of genres. If you’re a fan of Indie Rock, Reggae, SKA, Metal, Hardcore, Post-Hardcore, Grudge or any other genre for that matter, G.H.A.H’s upcoming Kuala Lumpur music festival is set to satiate your audio cravings.
#ROCK4FREEDOM is G.H.A.H’s answer to the need to showcase the multi-faceted talents of our local music scene. The festival, that’s going to go full blast this 23rd April, is all about condensing the diversity of our bands and musical talents into a singular, arms-in-the-air-like-you-don’t-care moment or to your heart content at the MCPA Hall.
Consider the event to be pseudo-“Rock The World” repackaged as a small scale gig. The primary objective of the festival is show the society at large that our local talents are worthy of tackling the international stage.
Here’s a list of the bands and performances to expect at the festival:
REPUBLIC OF BRICKFIELD
GERHANA SKA CINTA
MASSACRE CONSPIRACY
TRES EMPRE
MADDTHELIN
COUPLE
YOUNG THOUSAND
DUM DUM TAK
SECOND COMBAT
MADDAME
For those who are interested in purchasing the ticket before the festival starts, you can do so at all selected Rock Corner outlets.
