The vocals of local electro wizard Darren Ashley have boarded an ecstasy filled track by Toronto-based artist and producer Marty Bernie, otherwise known as Pusher. The track, titled “Someway, Somehow”, is integral to Pusher’s debut EP called New Laces that presents 6 other tracks showcasing a smorgasbord of featured artists.

Before we abuse our audio jacks binge listening to Pusher’s entire EP, let’s get one thing out of the way: “Someway, Somehow” is happiness reincarnated as sound. An aural wonderland of flying whales and uplifting electronic beats, it’s exactly the kind of song you’d expect Darren’s melodious whispers to star in.

It’s worth noting how Pusher and Darren’s musical styles seem incredibly similar, from the happy-go-lucky vibe to the mix of audio quirks utilised. Essentially, Darren was the perfect featured artist for the track, complementing Pusher’s music like peanut butter and jelly.

MrSuicideSheep, a Youtuber that uploads primarily electronic music, has featured “Someway, Somehow” on his channel, which you can view right at the top. Great music deserves great exposure, so do yourself a favour and experience it now!
