It’s been a while since we heard a peep from fellow Def Jam SEA artist Sonaone, but the rapper has graced us all in a much needed time during this MCO with a fire single, aptly titled ‘Bomba.’
“At least when I flex, it ain’t lies,” as SonaOne dictates the flow of the song, affirming his ability to come up with dashing bars and quotables lines in English, Malay, and French, all presented in a medley of pop, R&B, and rap.
There’s many more to come to, as “Bomba” is the first single to be released from his upcoming album, Freestyle Play. “Sonically, I’m aiming to have the audience feel what I feel in the studio when making these records: A surreal world where the limits extend as far as your imagination does.”
