Talitha Tan is back with her latest single ‘Please Stay’. The song blends electro-pop elements with mellow yet progressive upbeat feel. Her lyrics emanate vulnerability and the meaning of family. ‘Please Stay’ is particularly meaningful to her as the song was inspired by her mother’s love and family struggles. Talitha shared, “There was a period where we just couldn’t get along, and things had been difficult for us as a family.” Through that tough time, naturally she looked to her music as a way to express herself which led to this new single.
“I poured all my emotions into this song. My mum has selflessly loved me unconditionally through the ups and downs in her own life and I wanted to let her know that I saw that in her”, she added.
