Hailing from the ‘land of the rising sun’, instrumental rockers toe will say hello to BolehLand’s natives with a math rock serenade of epic proportions.
Noted for their song structure and dynamics that are likened to many renowned math rock artists around the world, the band comprises Kashikura Takashi on drums, Mino Takaaki on guitar, Yamane Satoshi on bass and Yamazaki Hirokazu rounding up its guitar strumming component. Together they have rocked out since toe’s debut in 2000, and are currently one of three bands on the indie label Machu Picchu.
With mystical, complex synchronisation and sheer energy and emotion being channelled through their music, toe has left many an audience mesmerised. They’re surely set to deliver the goods to Malaysian audiences this time around, too!
