As Rouge opens with a hotly anticipated song that features Tyler, The Creator on opposite ends finding reasons to blame each other, we now have a music video to visualise the agony and indifference that the two are feeling.

Directed by Adam Sinclair, “Castaway” sets the stage in an antique American suburban home, with drawers of clothes strewn all over the floor, and Yuna sitting in a recliner, her face painting a scene of contemplation and slight sorrow as she’s ostracized herself from the relationship, subsequently recalling what happened in between them that has ended in her distancing. Tyler then counters with his side of the story, depicting that it was the result of both of their individual actions that wedged the relationship further.

Storying “Castaway” with impressive cinematography visuals, the frame on frame set definitely adds a layer of aesthetics to the music video.
