What? ADER ERROR has a new collaboration with PUMA we hear you say? Yeah. The world works in different ways, but sometimes the results can bear sweet fruit, and this seems to be the case between these two brands. FUTRO is the keyword for this collab. Presumably an acronym for Future Retro, everyday classic silhouettes have been reinterpreted to reflect this design language.
Forward thinking aesthetics and fondness of the nostalgia are bridged together, as seen on the new RS-0, RS-100 and Suede, characterised by collage detailing, bold text, and logo play. Retro video game consoles and colour palettes come to mind when viewing the collection, as these inspirations are imposed onto silhouettes in the form of bold soles, oversized boxy shapes, and striking graphics on shoulder straps.
The RS-0 ADER ERROR is the main highlight of this capsule, remixing the Running System shoe with an extended chunky sole with a rear bumper, an upper made of leather, nubuck and mesh with formfitting slip-on sock construction. The all-time favourite chunky court silhouette, PLATFORM TRACE ADER ERROR is also detailed with playful screen-printed text highlights and numbers, rear oversized patch in the shape of the letter ‘A’ for ADER and a unique double tongue with co-branded woven label.
Rounding up the collection is several pieces of apparel cladded in retro designs and colour combinations. the jacket is is styled with a removable hood and woven label on the sleeve strap. Pants are cut with dynamic cutlines, and colour blocked crew sweats, tees, and accessories complete the whole collection.
The PUMA x ADER Error collection drops on the 1st of September, 2018 at PUMA KLCC, Sunway Pyramid, Pavilion, Sunway Velocity Crossover Concept Store, and Robinson, ranging from RM 282 to RM 905 for the windbreakers. Y’all gonna cop?
