I think we can all agree that the newer weaves on the Ultraboost 3.0 and 4.0 can be a bit polarizing, but if you’ve dearly missed the earlier patterns, well good news! Adidas Malaysia quietly dropped the “City Pack” in version 2.0 weave, and we’re all here for it.
The “City Pack” revolves around hotspots all across the world, most prominently Shanghai, Seoul, Paris and NYC. All editions get ‘The Brand With 3 Stripes’ branding all over the upper in multiple languages, with the exception of the NYC colourway. Various cage designs are included over the 4 model range; the Paris gets the French tri-colour and while the NYC emulates the Stars and Stripes in a more contemporary design.
Other than that, functionality remains the same, following the Ultraboost of old, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
