It has been five years since adidas Running released their first running silhouette made with their game-changing BOOST technology, and now, the Energy BOOST returns once again. To celebrate the occasion, the Energy BOOST was given an upgrade and is re-released in its original Black and Yellow colorway as part of an anniversary pack that champions adidas most iconic silhouettes, the Energy BOOST OG and Energy BOOST.
The original Energy BOOST coined its name through its high energy return and responsiveness because of its heel-to-toe BOOST foam in the sole and midsole. The original silhouette remains while new upgrades include improvised and simplified midfoot construction combined with a lighter cage for a more accomodating fit. An Updated Torsion System, Enhanced Techfit, and Stretchweb was added to the silhouette to provide a better running experience and comfort as this upgraded Energy BOOST features 85% BOOST for more energy return.
To celebrate the 5th Anniversary of BOOST, adidas is releasing three special edition Energy BOOST OG, an updated version of the Energy BOOST, and a pair of Ultra Boost LTD, where each features a sporty Black/White colorway with Yellow accents that resembles the original colorway of the Energy Boost. The Energy BOOST OG and Energy BOOST is retailing for RM650 and is now available for purchase on Adidas online.
