Jordan’s plan to release prototype sketches of Tinker Hatfield’s original designs are going in at full swing. Straight after the release of the Air Jordan 3 “Tinker,” the brand continues on this foundation by releasing the next iteration, the Air Jordan 6.
You’ll come to notice however, that there isn’t much physical changes compared to your GR Air Jordan 6, apart from the fact that the “Tinker” edition boasts an unreleased colourway, initially failing to make it to retailer stores. The palette resembles something very 90s, with white and grey taking centre stage with accents of red and navy colouring the tongue, midsole, and heels. Icy blue outsole completes the look with perforations in the leather ensure some form of breathability during use. Overall very retro.
The AJ6 “Tinker” releases today, for RM 775, with still a full size run available. We’d tell you to get the Air Jordan 4 “Raptors” that just restocked today (and sold out), but this is a legacy colourway; one of the originals that supposedly never made it out of the sketchbook, turned into reality. It doesn’t get any better than this.
