To a lot of Jordan fans worldwide, The AJ8 is a very significant model in the series because it is the final Air Jordan shoe which MJ wore before announcing his sudden retirement. It is also the shoe of choice for MJ during his epic 6-game battle at the 1993 NBA Finals between “Sir” Charles Barkley’s Phoenix Suns and the Chicago Bulls. Oh yeah, MJ and the Bulls won that one, which is the inspiration behind the release of the OG version.
The sneaker dons a black suede upper, which is offset by touches of red and white, all the while sporting a unique print along the upper. Hints of Red, White and Blue seen on the sole. The color choice on the outsole is a perfect tie-in to the geometric inspired lining, which gives the sneakers some pop. The pair will be made available tomorrow at Hoops Station (Lot 10).
