On the 26th of March, 1987, history was made and Nike changed the game. Prolific shoe designer Tinker Hatfield first made the controversial design that exposed the Air cushioning system at the midsole section, something which was considered insane at that time and never done before. That design revolutionized Nike footwear and the way shoe design was perceived. To celebrate that momentous moment, every year on the 26th of March is Air Max Day.
In conjunction with Air Max Day, the fabled Air Max 90 have now evolved with the times and now features an array of technological advanced features to make up the Nike AM90 Ultra 2.0 Flyknit edition.
