Like The Infrared, But Pink
Aleali May is known for many things. Stylist, model, designer, and influencer are the few things present on her CV, but more importantly, she’s been getting her hands dirty designing several Air Jordan models, specifically for women. Prior to this, her highly rated Air Jordan 1 model with detachable faux fur cover a massive success, both for women and men alike.
Now though, Jordan continues on with its collaborative effort to produce what we think is second best to the “Infrared” type of colourway, the “Rust Pink.” The premium nubuck upper is highlighted much more subtly as details previous hidden in the “Infrared” are brought to light in the soft hue. “Infrared” detailing is retained throughout, with hits of red and white adorning the midsole of the shoe whilst the “Rust Pink” provides an alternate colour we never knew we needed. Even though it’s for women, that doesn’t matter. When the colour is this nice, who gives a shit. Wear it. It’s 2019, gender equality is on the rise.
Something to note is that it is an NRG model, making it a very limited release. The Air Jordan 6 ‘Aleali May’ will drop on 15th of March, for a price of approximately RM 817. Mark your calendars.
