In the sneaker game exclusivity is everything, customisation is trending like never before. Brands like Nike, Vans and many others have given an opportunity to customise a whole new colourway on their selected silhouette. For a sneakerhead like Afiq Shukri from 5FeetCustoms, he needed a pair to call his own in which he began experimenting on making his own pair from scratch. His custom kicks are works of art and original, instead of mass produced generic copies that everyone owns. All his work are hand-stitched without any sort of machine work. Have a worn out pair you can’t seem to throw out? Count on Afiq to make it brand new. He also provides services such as restoration and detailing touch up such as sole swap or repaint. Afiq is a talented craftsman and has never been afraid of taking chances with his deconstructing and reconstructing work. His shoes turns out flawless and look factory made.

Take a look at Afiq’s new alteration on Air Jordan 1 Chicago 1984 silhouette. The inspired silhouette remains the same such as the high collar and toe box shape, he replaced the original materials and 100% hand-stitch his choice of high quality materials. The custom shoe gets a white python skin for the upper and red kangaroo skin liner detailing. Nike’s iconic swoosh and his own logo is stitched using Italian cow tumble leather skin. As for the laces, a white sheep skin material was used. 3FeetCustoms logo replaced the original Nike label on the tongue for an obvious identity recognition.
