As we mention before on our previous post the Nike Air VaporMax has been making waves around the world, resonating with sneakerheads and streetwear enthusiasts alike. One of the most radical redesigns of Nike’s signature visible air concept, the Nike Air VaporMax introduces four brand new colorways.
The Chrome Blush colorway juxtaposes feminine neutrals with a metallic swoosh — a reference to powerful, sci-fi superheroines where as The City Tribes colorway offers a neutral take on the Air VaporMax, nodding to runs through lush grass.
In the Explorer collection, Nike’s consistent investigation of new technologies, including Nike Air, is tied to historical exploration. Bronze-colored swooshes hint at the deep-sea diving helmets that opened up underwater frontiers, while the white and blue of the Explorer Light colorway reference space suits. The Explorer Dark colorway alludes to the gritty texture of faraway planets.
Whilst the new Nike Air VaporMax colorways will officially launch on 13th July at Nike Pavilion, Nike KLCC and Nike Mid Valley, fans of the iconic design will be able to get their hands on the new colorways a week before the official release, at JD Sports Pavilion Elite on 7th July at a retail price of RM749.
