A streetwear giant and a perennial basketball brand team up once again for a collaboration that harkens back to their first drop together.

Two models are chosen for this collab, with the Jack Purcell being the highlight model this time round. For this collection, Takizawa, the founder of NEIGHBORHOOD has added his signature style to the model, resulting in a more aggressive looking silhouette that befits the NEIGHBORHOOD aesthetic very well. NBHDCNSJP adorns the midsole, while a white line outlines the top of the midsole. Kanji text “teiko,” or “resistance” is embroidered on the heel of the shoe while the upper is built from suede, finishing it off with extra details to differentiate it from the others.

The Chuck 70 though, gets a midfoot strap to enhance lockdown. The canvas also gets upgraded with leather linings, and ‘motorcycle’ appears underneath the Chuck Taylor badge that fits right at home in streetwear or on a bike.

The capsule also comes with co-branded t-shirts and hoodie that feature the NEIGHBORHOOD pentagram juxtaposed with Converse Rubber Shoe Company. Co-branding makes itself visible at the bottom of the graphic.

The Converse X NEIGHBORHOOD pack will launch on the 24th of August at Converse Mid-Valley, KLCC, Crossover Sunway, Online, and the Flagship store at Lazada with prices ranging from RM 199.90 to RM 509.90
